Azure Site Recovery

Downtime can spell disaster. You can’t risk it. Having a secondary date center on standby requires hardware, software, and resourcing costs that are expensive and time consuming.

Azure Site Recovery.
automatically protects your IT
infrastructure and extends your
data center into the cloud when
you need it.

Azure Site Recovery = Peace of mind
When Mayham comes knocking at your door your business can be back up and running within minutes, with no risk.
Fire, flood, server failure and even viruses are no match for Azure Site Recovery.
How is that for peace of mind?

How Azure site recovery works

Azure Site Recovery replicates your on-premise physical servers and virtual machines to Azure or to a secondary data center.  If an outage occurs in your primary location, you failover to the secondary location within moments. Your applications and workloads will continue to be available. When operations return to working order, you fail back to your primary location. It’s as simple and seamless as that.

  1. Secure, continuous health monitoring
Azure Site Recovery monitors the state of your protected systems continuously and remotely. When replicating to Azure as the secondary site, your data is encrypted, and you can also select encryption for data at rest.
  2. Orchestrated disaster recovery
With Azure Site Recovery, you can automate the orderly recovery of services in the event of a site outage at the primary data center. Applications can be brought up in an orchestrated fashion to restore service quickly, even for complex multi-tier workloads.
  3. Less downtime, faster recovery
Downtime costs money. That’s why Azure Site Recovery helps you achieve lower recovery point objective (RPO) and recovery time objective (RTO) targets for every system in your organization. You can protect your business against outages of critical systems – including SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, SAP and Oracle – and maintain availability of your data and applications during an unplanned event.
